Blameless (The Parasol Protectorate)

Blameless - Gail Carriger May I open by saying: "Yay for cross-dressing lesbian Frenchwomen named Geneviève!" I really want to introduce Magloire (mine) to Lefoux (Carriger's). They could swap advice on how best to tie their favourite cravat knots. As I'm progressing through Carriger's books, I'm finding it harder to talk about her plots with any kind of specificity, simply because the plot builds from book to book. As my friend Andrew assured me, the Parasol Protectorate is much more a serial than a series: a small put important distinction. I think I can say, without giving away too much, that I am safe from both vampires and werewolves due to the inordinately large amount of pesto I eat.
